Something I am struggling with these weeks Absurd timelines for administrative actions, in short I am being asked to get things done in a time line that makes little to no sense. We are literally forcing things for so someone else can say it’s done.
This week I returned to work in my job in the Dept of Defense, but it was a short week since I had planned a motorcycle trip already. So we (the two staffers I got in the course and myself) presented our Capstone projects to our senior leadership. They seem very impressed and made my recommendations to continue this type of upskilling for those willing to put in the effort to prove they want it.
Something I am struggling with this week Back to being annoyed by JS, I just haven’t worked with the language enough and syntax requiring lookup’s for basic things.
Something I am struggling with this week I missed an opportunity to get our team ahead being to focused on what our work scope was instead of the bigger picture of the overall project.
Something I am struggling with this week I had a small typo in one of the active record statements in my capstone projects api, that blocked me for 8 hours.
Something I am struggling with this week I have noticed I am becoming to overly familiar with methods, when doing white-boarding I am jumping to methods instead of doing them the long way around.
Something I am struggling with this week we started the capstone, and I am dreading the wire-frame part. I feel like it will be similar to researching on wikipedia and could be a huge time sink.
Something I am struggling with this week is syntax differences with JS and VueJS, but I have a hunch this comes with practice much like any other language. I am also annoyed with css, but this is an ongoing dislike for css as much as it’s a necessary evil.
